Multi-Stage Mist Elimination for Demanding Separation Applications

MultiMister™ Technology combines multiple mist elimination technologies into a single integrated system to achieve high separation efficiency across a broad range of droplet sizes and operating conditions. By selecting and arranging the most appropriate separation stages, MultiMister™ provides an effective solution for applications where a single mist eliminator cannot achieve the required performance.

A typical MultiMister™ system may incorporate cyclonic separators, vane mist eliminators, wire mesh demisters, or fibre bed technology, with each stage performing a specific separation duty. Larger droplets are removed in the initial stages, allowing subsequent stages to efficiently capture progressively finer mist while maintaining low pressure drop and reliable operation.

Every MultiMister™ system is custom-engineered to suit the process conditions, including gas velocity, liquid loading, droplet size distribution, operating pressure, and temperature. This tailored approach delivers optimum separation efficiency while protecting downstream equipment, reducing emissions, and improving product recovery.
