Enhanced Pall Ring Geometry for Increased Capacity

H-Pak™ Random Packing builds on the proven Pall Ring design with enhanced internal fingers and reinforcing ribs that increase the effective surface area available for mass transfer while maintaining a high void fraction. The result is improved gas-liquid contact, increased hydraulic capacity, and lower pressure drop compared with conventional Pall Ring packing.

The additional internal structure also provides greater mechanical strength, allowing thinner wall sections without compromising durability. This enables more efficient use of material, reduced packing weight, and deeper packed beds where required, while maintaining excellent resistance to deformation during installation and operation.

H-Pak™ is suitable for both new process columns and tower revamps, providing an economical solution for improving column efficiency, increasing throughput, and reducing energy consumption. It is widely used in distillation, absorption, stripping, scrubbing, and product recovery applications across the chemical, petrochemical, refining, and gas processing industries.
