D-Mister Mist Eliminator

D-Mister™ Mesh Mist Eliminators use knitted wire mesh to capture, coalesce, and drain entrained liquid droplets from gas streams. Their high void fraction provides excellent separation efficiency with low pressure drop, making them ideal for process vessels, scrubbers, separators, and distillation columns.

Efficient Wire Mesh Demisting for Gas-Liquid Separation

D-Mister™ Mesh Mist Eliminators are manufactured from precision-knitted wire mesh and are designed to remove entrained liquid droplets from gas and vapour streams. As the process gas passes through the mesh pad, fine liquid droplets impinge on the wire filaments, coalesce into larger droplets, and drain back into the process under gravity, producing a cleaner gas stream.

The high void fraction of the knitted mesh provides an effective balance between droplet removal efficiency and low pressure drop, making D-Mister™ suitable for a wide range of gas-liquid separation duties. Available in a variety of mesh densities, pad thicknesses, and materials, each unit is selected to suit the operating conditions and required separation performance.

D-Mister™ Mesh Mist Eliminators are widely used in distillation columns, scrubbers, absorbers, knock-out drums, evaporators, separators, and other process vessels where efficient removal of liquid entrainment improves product recovery, protects downstream equipment, and reduces emissions.
