Case Study
Originally commissioned in 1995, the Glycol Still at Britannia North Sea Topside facility had provided long-term service before a replacement was scheduled in 2024. Rosenberg was engaged to verify the process design and provide new column internals for the replacement unit.
Following detailed hydraulic and process assessments, Rosenberg confirmed the adequacy of the proposed design, subsequently manufactured and supplied a full suite of internals, including its P-Pak™ (Pall Ring equivalent) random packing and RoseFlow™ internals. These included a random packing support grid, hold-down grid, and a liquid distributor, all fabricated in 316L stainless steel to meet offshore durability and corrosion resistance requirements.
